Berlin, Wisconsin is a small city found in portions of Waushara and Green Lake counties. Approximately 5,600 people call Berlin home, and the city is located along the Fox River. Originally a stop for Jesuit missionaries, numerous Native American tribes, and French fur traders, modern Berlin was officially founded in 1845. It was named Berlin for the capital of what is now Germany, but when pronouncing the name, the accent is placed on the first syllable rather than the second.

There are plenty of things to see and do in Berlin. Riverside Park offers fishing piers and a boat launch, and it is one of eight parks located within the city limits.
