About Neshkoro, WI - Happy to be your hometown Heating & Air Conditioning Contractor!
Neshkoro, Wisconsin is located in Marquette County, and only about 450 people call the community home. The village is situated in the central sands region of the state, and it was first settled in 1852. Located along the shores of the White River, Neshkoro and the surrounding communities have a diverse history of agriculture, industry, and recreation.
Despite the small population in Neshkoro, there are a few things to do here. The Lunch Creek Winery offers some unique local wines, and kayaking and canoeing is available via the Fox of the River Voyager Canoe. The Neshkoro Public Library is open for several hours each day from Monday through Thursday, and restaurants like Kayla’s Pub and Grub and Longbranch Saloon are also found here. Other top destinations are located a short drive away, including the Princeton Flea Market in Princeton, WI and Dogger’s Bar and Lanes in Wautoma.
As part of a humid continental climate, Neshkoro features four very distinct seasons throughout the course of the year. Spring weather is mild and rainy and may bring severe storms, while the autumn season is cool and blustery. However, outdoor enthusiasts will love the summer in the region, as high temperatures top out in the low- to mid-80s. High humidity may lead to sticky and heavy air, and some residents may wish to stay cool at home with a central air conditioner. Still, this season is ideal for fishing, camping, and boating in central Wisconsin.
The frigid winter season is arguably the most dangerous time in terms of climate. For three months of the year – December, January, and February – average daily highs only reach the 20s or low-30s. These freezing tempreatures fall even lower overnight, and when coupled with significant snowfall, outdoor conditions become treacherous. An efficient and reliable furnace system is a necessity for Neshkoro residents to stay safe at home.
