Wautoma, Wisconsin serves as the county seat of Waushara County. This small city is home to only about 2,200 residents, and it refers to itself as the Christmas tree capital of the world. This community is served by the Wautoma Area School District, and Wautoma High School has earned five state championships in three sports – boys’ track and field, football, and boys’ basketball. In fact, former NFL wide receiver Jared Abbrederis is an alumna of Wautoma High School and recently returned to the community after his retirement from the sport.
